Decision Making

I was not in class the day the class had the class activity on decision making. But from what I heard from the class after it, there was a lot of chaos. People were yelling and arguing about the grade and what should be done about it. The professor just sat back and listened. At first I found it amusing and didn't know why he did it but after going through the slides I realized that he allowed the class to make decisions, played no direct role in group's deliberations, in other words he was the delegate.
If I was in class that day, I think I would've collaborated with the others. I didn't do well on the test and obviously want the best solution I can get. But on the other hand, I might also just avoid the whole commotion and agree with the majority because I do believe we all want one thing and that is to get a better grade, right? I'm sure a solution eventually will come up where everyone can agree to.

An Eggs-cellent Way to Plan

My group and I started off calm during the planning process. Our goal was to keep the egg safe and the first thing that came to mind was to secure it. We knew what our resources was and we even went up couple of times to get a feel of the materials. My group had a lot of suggestions and that was a good thing. I guess the bad thing was that none of us were artistic. :x None of us could really draw so we couldn't really get each other to understand what we were thinking. We knew we had a limited of time to plan it out and that was when we started to get nervous and started to rush through things.
We did the strength and weakness of each other's suggestions on how to protect the egg and in the end we just gathered everyone's idea and made it into one. I can say that we did all the steps on the planning process but should have spent more. I think we could have been more effective if we didn't feel rushed and actually had the materials to work with since none of us could draw.
