Do you see what I see?

After a long day at work, I see myself going to a cozy modern home that my best friend and I designed. After numerous visits to Ikea, we’ve promise ourselves to find a full-time job after college and after a good 2-3 years of saving up money, we would move out together and get our dream home. It will be perfect. In the first few years we would have a modern apartment where everything is fancy and futurist. Just thinking of picking out the furniture’s and designing the rooms get me excited. We’ll even live the all-girls dream by having one room mainly for clothes and shoes. After work we would either have gatherings at home or just head out and live our 20s to the fullest. As we approach to the 30s where our life starts to stable down, we would transform our place into a cozy family friendly home. (That is if we still haven’t found our significant other)

Of course, these all won’t happen if I can’t find the money to support this dream. In the future, I want a job where I don’t mind waking up in every morning, heading to the same workplace, and doing the same thing for the rest of my life. I’m a very hyperactive person so I prefer doing something that doesn’t just involve sitting and looking at numbers all day. I guess I made a bad choice to study business huh? I haven’t really started on my major yet so hopefully it won’t be as bad as I imagine it to be. We all have to start somewhere to achieve this vision and mine is obviously finish college successfully and get a well paid full time job that I like so I can finally get my wall-in closet! Haha kidding. J...not really.

You have painted a vivid picture of your vision. Because of the simple fact that you have such a clear, detailed picture of the future I think you are that much closer to creating that reality. When the destination is well defined, the means of getting there will work itself out; knowing where you want to go is more important than the path you actually take to get there. There can be many paths to a destination.

Let me just support your vision by saying that it is totally attainable and totally worthwhile. The fact that you have a best friend who shares that vision will only increase the likelihood of making it a reality. I think that your friend and yourself should chat about the fine details often, this will keep the vision fresh (plus it's fun to talk about).

While reading your blog,I dreamed my own dream house. haha~ How sweet~
Just like you I want to have a dream house which everything in house fits to my taste in the future. As you said,we need money to support this dream. We know money is not everything for a living but it also plays an important role in living to make something happen.
yeah, right. we need a stable job to come true our dreams. I want you to be more considerate when you decide your career. if you choose something which is related to your interest, you won't be bored and you will be very creative and enjoy your work. Besides, you make money at the same time. You can do it. I really wish you all the best for your future. Also,I will take your advice which you wrote on my blog. Thanks for the support again.:)
Let's do our best every single moment so that we don't regret our lives when we look back upon the past. I believe that our efforts will be rewarded as our dreams come true. Good luck~~~

Your vision seems like a great dream. It is a very attainable vision that if you keep a clear mind you will reach it. If you surround yourself with people that share your vision and that support it you will definitely attain it.

Your vision is one that everyone wishes to achieve. Hopefully, your current job will help you find your passion. Your passion, hopefully, will help you get that walk-in closet. All girls MUST have a walk-in closet!

You do have a big dream. But to achieve that, you have to work really hard, and save a lot of money. I know some girls like to hanging out and shopping. I don't know about you, but for any ordinary person, to get the dream to come true, you really have to limit all of the pleasure and luxury things that may have.
Also, you mentioned that you don't like to sit in front the computer and read numbers. At this point, i don't know what major you choose, but for finance or management major, all need to sit in a place and do things for the days.
Therefore, i think you should change your major as soon as you can.
